Memorial Day Mass
Memorial Day 2003:
About 60 people gathered on Memorial Day for a Mass to pray for those buried in St Charles Cemetery. God favored us with a bright, dry, though cool, day for the Mass. So we were able to celebrate it in the beautiful surroundings of our Parish Cemetery, which had been readied by our devoted staff, despite unfavorable weather conditions this Spring. During the Summer months our visitors will be able to enjoy resting on some of the park-type benches to be placed in various areas, thanks to the sponsorship of generous patrons. We hope to have at least ten eventually.
