Summer 2019 Series: Faith, Learning and Fellowship
Magnify Mondays: "My heart magnifies the Lord!" This exclamation of the Virgin Mary is an invitation to each believer to magnify the Lord Jesus, to adore him and worship in our midst. Each Monday, beginning on July 22, Eucharistic Adoration will be offered in All Saints Church from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed following the 8am Mass, and Morning Prayer will be prayed. (No prior experience necessary, all materials will be provided.) At noon, we will conclude with Solemn Benediction. If you are willing to commit to a half-hour time slot (or more!), or if you are willing to coordinate the list of adorers, please call the rectory at 401-762-1100. Please note: If a funeral takes places on a Monday morning, Adoration will be canceled.
Topics on Tuesdays: Join us on Tuesday mornings in Saint Charles lower church, beginning on July 23, after the 9:00 a.m. Mass, for a talk and discussion on some topic related to our Catholic faith or our local community. Fr. Joe will accept recommendations on topics to be discussed in a casual and interactive setting. All are welcome to suggest topics, to join in any discussion, or just to listen.
Word on Wednesdays: Beginning on Wednesday, July 24, at 1:00 p.m., we will meet in the rectory dining room at All Saints for Word on Wednesdays, an informal bible study with Fr. Joe. No experience is necessary. Just bring a bible (if you own one, otherwise one can be provided you), and a pad and a pen. While there will be some teaching on the passage chosen for study, there will also be an opportunity for faith sharing and prayer. We will be looking at the Gospel of John to begin, but will be open to suggestions moving forward. All are welcome!
